The Kill Society by Richard Kadrey
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
He is called "the Abomination" who is a monster killing monsters who are on a first name basis with Lucifer, in fact, Jim who goes by several names held the Lucifer position in Hell for a brief time. This book was funny and really sick in so many disturbing ways. Jim/Slim our hero? murderer? finds that he has been killed for good this time around and is back in Hell. He teams up with a bunch of misfits and a few Angels who are on a quest to end the war between Heaven and Hell. It was a rip-roaring time through the lands of Hell with its bogs of blood and sewage or the brutal deserts and mountains with no water. I really enjoyed this book and will be picking up, in the beginning, I am a fan for life.
