The Touch: A Supernatural Story by Robert Flynn III
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
What an exciting new twist on the who and what is an Angel or a Demon kind of thinking that most people perceive as truth. In this first book, we are introduced to all the main characters who will be playing significant roles in the continuing story. The stage is set for the world to experience what many people are already feeling through just a touch from one of the chosen ones who can make bad people do good things. Who has chosen these individuals? And what will these chosen ones accomplish? I guess I am just going to have to read the next one in the series to find the answers.

Review: The Cursed Coin
The Cursed Coin by Culliver Crantz
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
This was the first book in the Fright Vision series. I enjoyed reading about this paranormal mystery book for young adults. The story kept me entertained but I was a little disappointed in the ending since it left a red herring I think it is called. The book never really ended since it brought a new mystery that needs to be solved. Guess I will just have to keep reading this series which I will look forward to reading.

Review: Five Steps: from blank page to movie release
Five Steps: from blank page to movie release by Nancy Smith
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Excellent! I took a college course about film making and this book was so much easier to follow than the class assigned book. Loved that you started at the very begining of writing the screenplay. Have been motivated to get my own project going! I highly reccomend this book to anyone who is interested in writing and producing their own movie or just writing that next Steven Speilberg movie this book is for you.

Review: Trickster's Choice
Trickster's Choice by Tamora Pierce
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Alianne is our young teenage royal heroine in this enthralling tale, she is the youngest of three children who has yet to find her path in life. Her mother is the famous Kings champion, The Lioness whom is constantly away fighting in the name of the King. She has been following in her father and grandfathers path of learning about spying. When she has an argument with her mother she takes off and unfortunately gets captured by slavers. Sold into slavery she quickly finds that her skills as a spy quickly being utilized to keep the family she has been indentured to alive and safe. Who will be the next person to become King or Queen of the realm? and how many will die in the quest for the crown? This was the first book in the series, so there really was no ending, which is kinda bothersome but I do like the style, characters and story enough to read the next in the series.

We humans are always discovering new species of animals as we search out new sources of fuel in extreme locations around the world. What could go wrong? It this horror book we find our crew of British special forces investigating the spotting of a Russian ship in Canadian waters. What they encounter will force the team to fight for their lives and the young female Russian scientist that they find as the only surviving crew member of the Russian ship. Will they be able to seal the hole in the ocean to keep the carnivorous animals from spreading to the whole ocean? Lots of action and creepy crawly hungry beast from the ocean depths keep this book exciting.
